Compassionate Care for Dogs and Cats
Preventative Health Care
From new puppy and kitten exams, to geriatric check-ups, our doctors and staff will tailor a specific plan to ensure the health and well being of your pet through all stages of life. Annual physical exams are essential for the early detection of health concerns and prevention of future problems. During you pet's visit, nutrition, intestinal parasites, heart worm disease, and flea and tick control will be discussed, as well as any other questions or concerns you may have.
Vaccinations are essential for the prevention of disease and general well being of your pet. Vaccinations are given in a series for puppies and kittens and maintained yearly thereafter. Our doctors and staff will help you establish a vaccination program specifically designed for your pet's lifestyle.
We also offer microchipping, which is a permeant form of pet identification. With its unique identification number, lost pets can be reconnected with their owners.
Health certificates are often needed to travel with your pet. We can issue these certificates and answer any questions you may have, ensuring your travels are stress free!
When Pets Aren't Feeing Well
We understand your concern when your pet is not feeling well and we will do our best to schedule an appointment as soon as possible. Since pets cannot tell us how they feel, diagnostic procedures are often necessary to determine the source of the problem. We offer in house blood testing and digital x-rays along with other diagnostic tests. Laboratory samples may also be sent to our diagnostic laboratory when needed. Our doctors will take the time to discuss options and together we will create a plan that is in the best interest of you and your pet.
Surgery and Routine Dental Care
Valley Veterinarians offers a wide variety of surgical procedures for your pets, including soft tissue surgery, spays and neuters, routine dental cleaning, etc. Our doctors and staff understand the concerns you may have regarding your pet's surgery. We offer a variety of pre-operative diagnostics to evaluate your pet prior to surgery and will guide you through your pet's recovery process.
